A HISTORIC piece of equipment used to control trains will be on display on weekends throughout September.
The Swindon Panel was used on the railways from 1968 until 2015 and is now part of Didcot Railway Centre's 'controlling the trains' exhibition.
Visitors can get hands-on with the exhibit and work the panel themselves, recreating the job of a railway signaller.
A range of other exhibits and materials will be on show alongside the panel to help people discover the history and development of train control and signalling.
The exhibition is open on September 22, 23, 29 and 30, on October 28 and November 4, and 11.
