VISITORS to Witney Leisure Centre with a disability or mobility problems can now get around easier after a track hoist was fitted.
The track hoist eliminates the need to lift a person manually, reducing the risk of injury to the carer and the person being transferred.
Track Hoists also reduce the need for extra help and allows someone who cannot self-transfer to move with comfort and dignity.
Dawn McCall of Guideposts Trust, a charity for adults with learning disabilities, said: “This has taken a lot of meetings, and emails but we're very happy now.”
