BLENHEIM Palace researcher Antonia Keaney is giving a series of afternoon talks at Blackwell’s bookshop.

She will be at the Broad Street store on Tuesday, August 7, to speak about The Ladies of Blenheim, an entertaining look at the ladies of the Marlborough family usually overlooked in favour of the men.

The free talk, from 3pm to 4pm, examines the loves and achievements of some of the duchesses and ladies associated with the family and discusses the thwarted talents and potential of others.

The stately home in Woodstock is home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. To attend the talk email events.oxford@blackwell.co.uk
