THE origin and evolution of Field Recording will be taught at a five-day Oxford Brookes University summer course.
Location scouting, the basics of sound editing and uploading a project to a sound site are among the techniques that will be taught at the week-long class.
On completion of the course participants will have produced a field recording portfolio totalling five minutes that can be uploaded to the sound site of their choice.
The cost of the course is £365 for tuition and £615 to include self catered accommodation and will take place between August 13 at 10am and August 17 4pm.
