A LIBRARY in southern Oxfordshire is celebrating World Music Day on Friday, with a live performance from a local group.
Wantage Library will host ‘Flower of the Quern’ for two hours from 2pm, in a rare live event at the Stirlings Road facility.
No booking is required for the free gig. The group play a mixture of genres, including British and European folk music.
Later this month, the library host 'Alice Day', on the morning of Saturday, June 30. It says the storytime and craft event 'is suitable for Mad Hatters, Cheshire Cats and Dormouses aged three to 10'.
