A STUDENT working with concrete for the first time is celebrating after his basin design was launched on the open market.
Rama Bown, from Didcot, impressed concrete design specialists, lowinfo, while working for the company during the placement year of his degree at Nottingham Trent University.
The 23-year-old was intrigued by their use of ‘liquid stone’ to create concrete basins and pitched his own design to the company who have now taken it into production.
The SONO basin showcases the use of concrete for interior design and is distinctive because of its curved shape. Mr Bown said: “Rama said: “I am ecstatic that something I have designed has made it to production.”
