START-UP centre The Oxford Foundry is launching a programme to nurture women business leaders.
The base for Oxford University entrepreneurs was opened by Apple CEO Tim Cook in October.
Now a new programme, L.E.V8 Women, is being launched to help women take on leadership roles in industry.
The programme has been launched by centre director Ana Bakshi.
She said: “Being taken seriously as a woman in a board room or in investor meetings is definitely still a challenge.”
The programme includes learning workshops and guidance and advice from a number of different mentors.
