OXFORD'S Lord Mayor Colin Cook is currently visiting one of the city's twinned cities.
Mr Cook missed a West Area planning committee meeting because he is on a visit to Perm in Russia, which twinned with Oxford in 1995 after links were made in 1990.
Mr Cook will meet over coming weeks with representatives from Polish city Wroclaw, which the city council wants to twin with. It also wants to twin with Italian city Padua.
