A BROKEN handrail at a Rose Hill bus stop has been temporarily fixed.

Residents reported that the rail attached to two steps on the pavement along Rose Hill, at the bus stop near Westbury Crescent, was lying on the ground.

Several people logged the issue last week using Oxfordshire County Council's FixMyStreet website, an online problem-reporting platform.

The council responded via the website on Tuesday, stating: "The railings here have been made safe.

"We are in the process to organising a permanent repair."
