BESTSELLING author Francesca Haig inspired pupils at a North Oxford school with a creative writing workshop.
The author of The Fire Sermon trilogy spent the day with children at d'Overbroeck's in Banbury Road.
Students from year 7 to 13 took part in the workshop and quizzed the author as part of a programme of literary events at the school last week.
The school said its youngsters 'thoroughly enjoyed' creating their own dystopian stories with the help of the acclaimed author.
The Australian author's books have been published in more than twenty languages and she is also an award-winning poet.
