CHILDREN's author Ross Montgomery popped in to see pupils in north Oxfordshire and gave a talk on the importance of reading.
Students at Sibford School near Banbury, were joined by friends from nearby schools Sibford Gower Primary, Great Rollright Primary and Shenington School.
The author of several novels including 'Alex, the dog and the unopenable door' was invited to talk with pupils and host two workshops about how reading and writing go hand in hand.
School librarian Frances King said: “He gave the pupils excellent advice.They were all, even the youngest, absolutely riveted."
