THE OVER-USE of antibiotics will come under the spotlight in a free public talk in Witney tomorrow.
Organised by Public and Patient Partnership for West Oxfordshire the discussion will see Professor Carl Heneghan, of Oxford University, talk about a range of issues surrounding antibiotics.
The talk will also demonstrate how bacteria can adapt and find ways to survive the effects of an antibiotic and how this is already proving to be a major threat to patient safety.
It will take place at The Corn Exchange, Market Place, from10.30am to 12pm.
