A PERSONAL trainer who credits fitness for giving him a fresh outlook on life has launched an exercise bootcamp in Oxford.
Cowley resident Leon Sylvester is staging a series of pulse-raising classes at Cheney School sports hall in Headington, on Monday evenings.
The sports enthusiast, who works at Pure Gym in Templars Shopping Park, pitched the BodyTone Bootcamp as a way of 'achieving lasting wellbeing in physical and mental health'.
He said: "It is not only about burning fat. It is about rediscovering your own potential through devotion to your physical health."
Mr Sylvester said fitness helped him to transform himself and he is now on a mission to 'rebuild other people'.
Plugging the social benefits of sport, he added: "I'm trying to build a good community of people and bring everyone together."
The bootcamp takes place at 7.30pm on Mondays and details about prices and format can be found via facebook.com/leonsylvesterpt
