TIM HEALEY will explore the story behind the mysterious leafy mask seen on old parish churches, 18th century garden ornaments and Victorian street architecture.
The local historian's presentation will be illustrated with images of the Green Man throughout Oxfordshire.
Tickets are £5 per person, which includes tea and coffee.
The talk will be held in the Kempster Room of Abingdon Museum on Saturday from 3pm.
