A THEATRE has announced it raised more than £2,500 for its chosen charity last year.
The New Theatre Oxford supported Soundabout in 2017 and ran activities including bucket collections, a member of staff running a marathon and bake sales.
Families and staff from the charity, which uses music to help children with disabilities, were also invited to a performance of Wonderland, where they had the opportunity to meet some of the cast after the show.
The money will be used to run a terms worth of music-making activities.
New Theatre will support Daybreak in 2018, a charity that runs day centres in Oxford for those with dementia and their families.
