NIGERIAN author Ben Okri, whose novel The Famished Road won the Booker Prize in 1991, is to visit Oxford University’s Jesus College.
On Monday, after a private writing workshop for students of the college and a brief portrait session with photographer Ander McIntyre, Dr Okri will be joined by the Principal, Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt, and shown some of the college collections.
The author will speak on his most recent book, The Magic Lamp: Dreams of Our Age, a collaboration with artist Rosemary Clunie. The book took five years to write. The talk takes place at 8.30pm, in the college's Ship Street Centre.
