BANDS looking to perform in front of thousands of revellers are invited to apply for this year's Music in the Park.
Abingdon Town Council have already begun organising the popular event, which has taken place in the Abbey Grounds of the town every year since its inception as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.
Attracting large crowds with 3,500 wristbands being made available in the spring, this year Music in the Park takes place on Saturday, June 2 following on from the popular daytime event, Fun in the Park.
The event includes performances predominantly by local bands and the organising committee has already received interest from groups.
Any bands who are interested in playing at Music in the Park are asked to contact the Council with a short resume.

Applications must be made by 5pm on Wednesday, February 14 2018.
