AN OFFICIAL planning application to renovate the Museum of Oxford in a £2.7m revamp will go to councillors next week.
Oxford City Council's West Area planning committee will be asked to support the proposal to build improvements including two new lifts and a raised platform and steps at the Town Hall. Damp-proofing in the building's basement is also proposed.
The authority's officers said in a report that the plans would result in 'much needed improvements'.
Councillors will decide on the application at the Town Hall on Tuesday from 6pm.
