A VACANT High Street unit formerly home to a recruitment agency must become a cafe or restaurant to attract a tenant, it has been claimed.
The building was occupied by Reed Specialist Recruitment who have moved out ahead of its lease expiring.
Plans to change the use of the building to a restaurant or cafe have now been lodged with Oxford City Council after local agents said it was needed to secure a re-letting.
Building surveyors HDP, in submitting the plans, said it would make the space 'more marketable'.
A decision will be made by January 18.
