CHILDREN will help to stage at live nativity play at their village church.

School-age actors will perform the Christmas story at St James the Great Church, West Hanney, on Saturday, December 16.

The show is due to start at about 2.15pm and villagers are invited to come and ‘follow Mary on her donkey and Joseph all the way to the stable’.

The church organisers have said children are welcome to come dressed as shepherds or angels.
