A PRE-SCHOOL in West Oxfordshire has been recognised for its ‘caring and sensitive’ approach to learning.
Bright Start Pre School in Carterton received the praise in an Ofsted report released last week.
It was awarded the regulator’s second-highest rating of ‘good’.
The inspector’s report, written following an inspection in November, said: “Children are very much valued and welcomed at this friendly pre-school.
“Staff form strong bonds with children and help them to feel emotionally secure.
“They are warm and caring and sensitive to children’s individual needs.
“Staff skilfully support children to manage their own behaviour.”
The pre-school, which is based at Brownes Hall, currently looks after 40 youngsters aged between two and four years old.
It was last inspected in June 2014, when it also earned a ‘good’ rating.
Ofsted set out areas for improvement including more use of technology.
