AN HISTORIC Oxfordshire museum is to get a bit of TLC.
Uffington Parish Council near Wantage has applied for planning permission to carry out conservative repairs to masonry at the village’s Tom Brown’s School Museum.
The former village school house is now a tribute to Thomas Hughes’s 1857 novel Tom Brown’s School Days, inspired by Uffington.
