DEATH, pilgrimage and religion will be discussed tomorrow at the Ashmolean.

From a Christian pilgrim’s token, to the grave of a young Muslim girl, doctoral students Helena Guzik and Fuchsia Hart will use the items to explore the important role objects can play in the two religions.

They are part of the Talking Dead research group, which is made up of Oxford University students across a range of subjects who are focusing on religion.

The gallery talk takes place in the Oxford museum's Exhibition Galleries.

Talks are free with the price of exhibition admission and no additional booking is necessary. Meet in Gallery 58.
