A MULTI-million pound project to transform an Oxford museum is expected to get an extra £1m of council cash.
Oxford City Council is due to set aside £1.34m at a meeting today, for a scheme called Oxford’s Hidden Histories.
The council had previously pledged £315,000 capital for the £2.8m project, which will revive part of the Museum of Oxford.
Councillors on the council’s city executive board are due to pass a recommendation this evening, setting out the new cash injection.
They will also hear more detailed plans about the proposed transformation.
