GET the inside story on the book trade from Abingdon author Nicki Thornton.
She and her husband Mark have spent more than a decade running the town's independent bookshop, Mostly Books, and her children’s novel ‘The Firefly Cage’ is set to debut in 2018.
In a revealing look at the publishing trade, the writer will talk about just what it takes to get a book onto the shelves, as well as sharing the challenges of making your living writing and selling books.
The free event will take place on Tuesday in Trinity Church, Conduit Road, Abingdon from 2.30pm.
