CHILDREN will dunk their nets at a ‘pond dipping’ session near Didcot.
The Earth Trust Centre is encouraging families to take a closer look at the aquatic creatures living in ponds at the centre in Little Wittenham.
Using nets and trays, children can crouch next to the water and fish around for newts and bugs.
There will also be themed art sessions inspired by the pond probing.
It runs on Sunday, August 6 from 10am until midday.
Donations are suggested at £4 per child and the accompanying adult goes free.
