TENNIS courts are set to get a new hut and a new path to encourage players in the winter.
Uffington Parish Council has applied for planning permission to create the new facilities at the village sports club.
In its submission the council said the field around the courts is often waterlogged in winter and the new plans aimed to make the courts more accessible.
The council said: “It is hoped to encourage more players to play year-round in Uffington.”
