Inquest into to teenage crash death to be held

A CORONER will explore the death of a 17-year-old who was killed in a motorcycle crash earlier this year.

Thomas Gibbons, from Stanford in the Vale, was seriously injured following the collision on the A417 near Shellingford shortly before 9am on Tuesday, March 28.

The teenager was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

A coroner will explore the circumstances around Mr Gibbons’s death during an inquest at Oxford Coroner’s Court on August 2 at 2.45pm.
