A TEA party to help tackle loneliness will be held in North Oxford next month.
The new event has been launched by charities Aspire and the Cutteslowe Community Association and will be held on June 16. It will bring together about 80 elderly people affected by isolation and include afternoon tea and entertainment, with members of the community free to attend.
The gathering is part of the national Great Get Together campaign, inspired by the late MP Jo Cox.
Businesses have been invited to sponsor tables. The event runs from 1pm to 3pm.
