A CROWD of cleaners scrubbed and swept through Great Haseley as they spruced up the village.
More than 30 helpers volunteered on Saturday to spring clean their surroundings.
A spokeswoman for Great Haseley Parish Council said the group filled a skip measuring four cubic yards, with litter left lying around the village near Thame.
They also washed road signs, footpaths, the war memorial and polished equipment on the children’s playground.
