EAST-Oxford based business woman Joy Foster has been highly commended in the ‘Women’s Champion’ category of the UK Social Enterprise Awards.
The annual prize-giving, which recognises enterprises set up to tackle social and environmental problems, was held on Monday in London.
Ms Foster launched Made With Joy, which designs websites for charities, two years ago using a £5,000 ‘Do it’ award from national charity Unltd.
She also runs the Oxford-based TechPixie programme, helping women who have been home with young children back to work through digital marketing training.
The mother-of-two, who runs triathlons, was a member of the United States Archery Team from 2004-2007.
