FENCING is to be erected around a patch of allotments in Blackbird Leys after reports of anti-social behaviour on the plots.
At a meeting of the Leys Community Partnership, a group of local organisations including Oxford City Council, housing associations and schools, members were told young people have been entering the Sorrell Road allotments at night, trampling vegetables and escaping through a hole in the fence.
Council officer Chris Bell said new fencing is due to be erected on the site before Christmas.
