VOLUNTEERS are needed to help serve up lavish meals crafted from food destined for the bin.
The Oxford Food Surplus Cafe is set to return to East Oxford Community Centre on Saturday, August 13.
Diners, who pay however much they like, are offered dishes using food that otherwise would have been thrown out.
Organisers have served more than 1,800 meals, with the help of more than 200 volunteers, at events over the past year.
Residents will be able to snap up the tasty dishes at the Princes Street centre between noon and 3pm.
Volunteers are needed to help with activities including serving dishes, cooking food, chatting to punters.
