VILLAGERS are set to hold a work day to tidy up public spaces in Wolvercote.
On Saturday, August, 13, they will gather outside the village hall, in Wolvercote Green.
They will then to go to Goose Green to cut turf around sweet chestnut trees before mulching.
If they have time, the volunteers will move on to Wolvercote Green to clear undergrowth behind the pond.
The work day, which has been organised by the Wolvercote Commoners' Committee, will take place between 10am and 12pm.
Those who want to attend are encouraged to being spades, forks and half-moon spades if possible.
