PEDAL-powered plays will pass through Oxfordshire this summer as a Shakespeare tour visits.

Acting group HandleBards, which travels across the world carrying set, props and costumes on just four bicycles, will stop off to perform in the county.

The mens' troupe will visit Minster Lovell's Old Swan & Minster Mill on June 12 to act out Richard III, where the girls' troupe will also take the stage on July 14 for Romeo and Juliet.

The night before on July 13, the women will perform The Taming Of The Shrew at Oxford Story Museum.
