Aldi shoppers are rushing to stores after the supermarket launched a £39.99 air cooling unit as UK temperatures hit 30C.

The budget retailer’s returning “Keep Cool for Summer” range has landed in stores nationwide, featuring bargain cooling gadgets, breathable bedding and heatwave sleep essentials designed to help Brits survive sticky nights without spending hundreds on expensive air conditioning.

Leading the range is Aldi’s Air Cooler (£39.99), which promises a powerful cooling breeze for bedrooms, home offices and living spaces during the hot weather.

The supermarket is also selling a High Velocity Fan (£29.99), a compact 3-in-1 Mini Fan (£8.99) and a handheld Misting Fan for just £2.99.

With many households struggling to sleep during the heatwave, Aldi has also expanded its cooling bedding range.

Shoppers can pick up Cooling Pillowcases (£3.99), Cooling Fitted Sheets (£7.99) and Silentnight Thermal Regulating Pillows (£12.99), designed to absorb body heat and help regulate temperature overnight.

The retailer says the products are aimed at helping customers “sleep soundly through the heatwave” as demand for affordable cooling products surges across the UK.

Aldi’s Muslin Mix Duvets (£24.99) and Summer Fresh Duvets start from £9.99, while lightweight blankets and mattress protectors are also included in the seasonal collection.

As with all Aldi Specialbuys, the products are only available while stocks last - meaning shoppers may need to act quickly before the cooling range sells out.

The Keep Cool for Summer collection launched in Aldi stores now.
