Love Island 2023's winter edition brought back a very popular episode format in its last week with the baby challenge.

The ITV reality show segment sees the couples get a surprise awakening with the sound of screaming babies in the villa.

The challenge involves each pairing looking after their own baby doll and catering to all the crying, feeding and everything in between.

The islanders are then scored on their parenting skills with a winner being crowned at the end.

Understandably there is a mixed reaction at first from the couples, who then have to adjust quickly to their new situation.

What did the Love Island couples choose to name their babies?

Kai and Sanam named their baby boy Bruno, with Kai saying the inspiration for it lays behind Manchester United Bruno Fernandes.

Meanwhile, Shaq and Tanya call their girl Shanya, making it a combination of their two names.

In describing her Shaq said: "She’s just the most beautiful bundle of joy in the world.”

Jessie and Will picked out a sentimental name in Rufus as Will explained: “It's Rufus Lamby Wynter-Young. Rufus comes from a pet sheep I had on the farm.”

Lana and Ron named it Arra-bella party after Lana's goddaughter Addy and a name Ron picked out.

Samie and Tom decided to name their baby Tammie.
