McVitie's introduced the Gold bar in 1988 and is now launching a new version of it for the first time in 35 years.
Called the Gold Billions Wafer it has the golden caramel coating of the classic bar alongside the addition of crispy wafer and chocolate cream.
McVitie's said of the new bar: "With the perfect combination of creamy filling and crunchy wafer all wrapped up in one irresistible golden bar, the Gold Billions Wafer is a welcome addition to McVitie’s original biscuit range and the perfect new choice for a lunchbox, a mid-afternoon snack, or an after-dinner treat."

When will the Gold Billions Wafer be available in shops?
Gold Billions Wafers are now available to buy in certain shop chains such as Spar, Nisa and other select brands.
