OXFORD

Dominic Lovegrove, 19, of Wessex Road, Didcot, admitted causing £130-worth of criminal damage by damaging a van belonging to Paul Oakley in Kynaston Road, Didcot, on August 15. Also admitted possessing a kitchen knife in Ridgeway Road, Didcot, on the same date. Handed a community order with an 80-hour unpaid work requirement. Also ordered to pay £130 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Charles Hardisty, 33, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment with intent to cause Abdeeq Hussein harassment, alarm or distress at Tesco Metro in Magdalen Street, Oxford on October 8. Sentenced to six weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115. 

Gordon Eugene Luetchford, 49, of HMP Bullingdon, admitted driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit in Witney on November 3. Luetchford gave a reading of 47 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal alcohol limit is 35 microgrammes. Fined £100. Ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

Hichem Abadou, 37, of Windrush Tower, Knights Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting Elalia Khellafi by beating her in Oxford on November 5. Community order made. Defendant ordered to take part in a programme requirement for 35 days and rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. Restraining order made for defendant not to contact directly or indirectly Elalia Khellafi. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Karinne Alves, 40, of Henley Street, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to a property valued under £5000. On May 19 in Oxford, Alves, without lawful excuse, damaged a vehicle windscreen to the value of £250 belonging to Marcello Lima, intending to destroy or damage such property of being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Lee Girard, 27, of Wolage Drive, Grove, Wantage, admitted assaulting Victoria Hale by beating her on November 12 in Belmont, Wantage. Also admitted criminal damage to property valued under £5000 at the same address on the same day. Girard, without lawful excuse, damaged a Ford KA by denting the boot and breaking the window belonging to Victoria Hale to an unknown value, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Fined £310. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Also ordered to pay £1055 in compensation.

Daniel James Harkins, 21, of Trefoil Place, Oxford, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road or in a public place without third party insurance on April 23 in Windale Avenue, Oxford. Also admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence in the same road on the same day. Fined £450. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.

BANBURY

Matthew Potter, 30, of Howard Road, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Banbury, on November 13. Also admitted causing criminal damage by damaging a cage door in a police Vivaro belonging to Thames Valley Police on the same date. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Grant Sayer, 37, of Zinzan Street, Reading, admitted stealing perfumes worth £498 from Debenhams in Banbury, together with Louise Urwin, on November 29. Jailed for eight weeks.

Louise Urwin, 27, of Zinzan Street, Reading, admitted stealing perfumes worth £498 from Debenhams in Banbury on November 29. Also admitted assaulting Nicki Harvey by beating her at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on the same date. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order and a conditional discharge order. Jailed for 24 weeks. Ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Kaspars Ivanovskis, 33, of Eden Court, Grove Road, Bournemouth, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards staff members with intent to cause them to believe immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, or provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by them, or it was likely violence would be provoked, at The Holt Hotel, Oxford Road, Steeple Aston, on July 30. Fined £750 and ordered to pay a £75 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Barry Left, 38, of Elkstone Covert, Birmingham, admitted assaulting Laura Johnson by beating her in Swingburn Place, Witney, on November 11. Also admitted causing criminal damage by damaging an internal door belonging to Laura Johnson on the same date. Fined £1025 and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Made subject to a restraining order.

Thomas Bowden, 24, of The Foyer, George Street, Banbury, admitted failing to notify his public protection officer he was using his XBox to connect to the internet, which he was prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order, on September 19. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Caroline O'Connell, 37, of Padbury Drive, Banbury, admitted stealing £22-worth of cosmetics from Poundland, in Malthouse Walk, Banbury, on August 24. Also admitted stealing £7 worth of toiletries from Poundland on May 2. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £7 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.
