Polling stations across Oxfordshire opened this morning as months of electoral campaigning reached its finale.

Voters across the county now have until 10pm today to make their voice heard before the polls close.

The most keenly contested seat is likely to be Oxford West and Abingdon, where Nicola Blackwood won by a majority of just 176 in the last general election.

Nationally, pollsters are predicting another hung parliament, with neither Labour nor the Conservatives looking like getting enough seats to form an overall majority.

If that comes to pass, all eyes will turn to the minor parties to see what sort of coalition maybe formed by whom to ensure a government.

You can follow all of the drama of the election throughout the day with regular updates on the Oxford Mail website.

And from 10pm we will be live blogging the count, bringing you every Oxfordshire constituency result as it happens.
