PAUL YOUNG, 46, of Willow Pike, Sutton Courtenay, was found guilty of damaging a digger window belonging to Mostrim UK in Sutton Courtenay last May. He was cleared of assault. The magistrates imposed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered he pay £384 in compensation and a further £522 in costs and surcharge.

LUCY SUMMERFIELD-CARTWRIGHT, 46, of Bertie Place, Oxford, was found guilty of racially aggravated assault on a man in George Street in October 2021 and damaging the man’s t-shirt. She was also convicted of damaging a candle holder in the Oxobar on George Street. She was given a community order with a six month alcohol treatment requirement. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the man who was assaulted. The magistrates also ordered she pay £350 in costs.

ALFRED SIBANDA, 27, of Thistledown Close, Oxford, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, drink driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He took a BMW without the owner’s consent and, before it could be recovered, caused damage to the vehicle. He was caught over the alcohol limit on Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 10 last year. Tests later showed he had 244mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood; around three times the legal limit of 80mlgs. He received a community order and must wear an alcohol abstinence monitoring tag for 90 days. He was banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay £85 in costs.

JOHN WILKIN, 46, of Toms Lane, Kings Langley, admitted driving a Ford Transit on Churchill Road, Bicester, last November while over the drug-driving limit. Blood tests showed he was one-and-a-half times the legal limit for cannabis. Wilkin was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and must pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

PETER DELLER, 67, of Juniper Close, Bognor Regis, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in Bicester last September by touching her. He admitted damaging a £10 glass at the Brewers Fayre restaurant on the same date. He was fined £200, ordered to pay £210 in compensation and given a community order with up to 35 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay £874 in costs and surcharge. He was not placed on the sex offender register.

ALAN WINDEBANK, 56, of Station Road, Cholsey, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour towards a woman in Cholsey last June. He was fined £346, ordered to pay £100 in compensation and must pay a further £638 in costs and surcharge.

PETER GEORGIOU, 55, of Midway Quay, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Mitsubishi Outlander 4x4 at the Cherwell Valley Services on the M40 last November. A breath test showed he was more than three times over the drink drive limit, blowing 125mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was sentenced to four weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year, banned from the roads for 30 months, and ordered to do up to 15 days’ worth of rehabilitation activity requirement sessions with the probation service. He must pay £354 in costs and surcharge.
