IT’S the event that businesses across Warrington have been waiting for.
Following a two-year break Warrington Business Awards is back for 2020, and this time organisers are promising it will be even bigger and better.
Not least because a ticket-only dinner is being held to officially launch the awards, which this year will be held in a glitzy marquee at Walton Hall and Gardens on Friday, September 11.
Sponsored by Redwood Bank and Primas Law, the glittering awards ceremony will be hosted for the first time by BBC radio DJ Mark Radcliffe, who returned to presenting following treatment for head and neck cancer last year.

An awards spokesman said: “Warrington regularly tops the rankings as a business leader in the UK – its specialisation in business services, start-ups and scientific development are second to none.
“The awards are designed to shine a light on Warrington’s business success.
“This event has become a firm fixture in the social calendar and its sponsors, candidates and eventual winners can attest to the increased platform that the awards have given them.”
A launch event will take place at Walton Hall on Friday, March 27 with BBC political correspondent and presenter Nina Warhurst as speaker for the evening.
Tens of thousands of pounds have been raised at previous awards ceremonies and organisers are now seeking applicants to be its nominated charity.
The spokesman added: “The organisers of the awards are aware that with business comes a social responsibility.
“Warrington has the benefit of many charitable causes within its borders all giving some assistance to those who need it most.”
Charities are invited to apply by emailing admin@warringtonbusinessawards.co.uk
