VERY few people know anything about the forthcoming election for the police commissioner, mainly because they have not been given any information about who is standing, or what they are standing for (apart from trying to make a name for themselves, that is).
Therefore, can I start the ball rolling by asking the candidates (whoever they may be) through the Oxford Mail, if elected, how would they deal with cases such as a woman I know who was robbed in Headington recently and then totally let down by Thames Valley Police?
I think this election is a waste of time and money and is just a public relations exercise by politicians who have nothing better to do with their time and our money.
If the police are not doing their job, then one person will not change that!
