THE owner of The Fox Inn in Stanton Harcourt has applied for planning permission to convert the pub into a home.
Agent Neil Boddington said a survey of local residents had resulted in “substantial” support for the change of use.
The Main Street pub, which has been closed since May, was purchased a month ago from Admiral Taverns, which had been marketing it since November 2009.
The plan will be decided by West Oxfordshire District Council.
