MOTORISTs were yesterday reminded that several stretches of the A34 will be closed overnight this week as part of a £2m resurfacing scheme.
Tonight the northbound carriageway between the slip roads at Hinksey Hill will be closed between 9pm and 5.30am.
Tomorrow and Wednesday night, the northbound entry slip road at the Hinksey Hill Interchange will be closed overnight between the same hours, and the northbound entry and exit slip roads at the Interchange will be closed overnight on Friday.
The resurfacing work between the Kennington and Pear Tree interchanges began a week ago, and is expected to be completed by Christmas. There will be a reduced speed limits on approach to the roadworks, and an escort vehicle will guide drivers past the work site.
