AN ENERGETIC new theatre company has launched this week with a play in an Oxford pub.
Flintlock Theatre is putting on Nikolai Gogol’s satire The Government Inspector, which tells the story of an undercover inspector coming to a corrupt Russian town.
Pictured from left are Jeremy Barlow, Robin Colyer, Sam Davies and Anna Glynn.
Ms Glynn, 30, said: “It’s a high-energy, physical comedy and fun for all the family.
“I’ve been involved with the Oxford Academy of Performing Arts with my husband Robin Colyer for two years and we have always wanted to put on our own work so this is a fantastic opportunity.”
The play is being performed at the Jericho Tavern in Walton Street until Friday, September 21. For more information and tickets visit
