The London Road level crossing broke for the second time in two days yesterday.
A fault meant that yesterday at 5am the red lights were flashing but the barriers were up. It also happened on Thursday at 6am but on both occasions was fixed quickly with no disruption. A Network Rail spokesman said: “There was never any danger to the public.”
