A LITTLE French shop in St Clement’s Street, Oxford, is teaching people how to bring a touch of the continent into their own homes.
The patisserie Chateau Gateau opened earlier this year and as well as selling his own macaroons in dozens of flavours, pastry chef Sebastian Lenglet is teaching people how to make their own.
Mr Lenglet said: “I change what we teach each week, so we’ve had macaroons, fruit tarts, marshmallow and chocolate biscuits. I think the classes are going well, people seem to be really enjoying them. I like to teach what I know.”
The classes run from 6pm on Tuesdays – places cost £35.
