HAVING resisted replying to Mrs Alba Thorning’s many baffling letters, I feel I have to respond to the letter from Mr M L Grey, (Oxford Mail, August 17). Mr Grey says that Roger Federer lost rather than Andy Murray won during their tennis match in the Olympic Games, and that Team GB had a higher profile and more medals than the Swiss.
I just don’t understand what point he is trying to make. Am I being naive? if so, would somebody please explain.
