Sir – How I agree with James Robertshaw’s refreshingly sensible letter (August 8).
I too have become increasingly concerned about immigration, especially the large influx from Eastern European countries.
As a person born and bred in Witney, having many conversations with locals, the feeling of being in the minority in our own town is strongly felt. It would be interesting to see local data on just how many are resident.
